Midnight Oil is a
patented, rules-based design tool. Using an expert engine,
designs are created with extreme accuracy with regards to rules and
specific product requirements. Furniture knowledge is not necessary
to create complete and correct designs. Unlike AutoCAD(c) based
tools, Midnight Oil is a true rules-based tool that ensures precise
designing and specification.
Midnight Oil's rules-based engine
provides for easy designing as it only allows the user to make valid
design selections, and specifies all panel hardware, connectors, and other
product hardware, automatically. Designs are checked for
completeness and stability.
Key-Alike schedules, Legends,
Building Shells and Fabric-Finish Sets reduce the amount of "busy" work,
leaving the user free to focus on the design itself. Product Lists
are fully managed, and allow the user to create exception lists, view and
review past changes, and ensures designs that are not built correctly or
are not complete, do not accidentally get ordered.
